Everyone has their own perception of youth. It is a time filled with beauty and marvels. Only after experiencing the sourness, sweetness, bitterness, and saltiness can one truly become a person of significance. Youth is limited. It might slip away without you noticing, and when you realize what has happened, it is often too late. Seizing youth well implies that a better future awaits you in the near future; otherwise, the situation might be the opposite.

Looking at those great figures in human history, they all made full use of their youth, doing things beneficial to society and all of mankind. Consequently, they are remembered by later generations and admired by everyone. So, do something during your youth. Although you may not achieve as much as these great men did, if not for the whole world, at least for yourself and those around you!

Youth is like blooming flowers. They are so beautiful when in bloom, making people feel happy. But as time passes, after they wither, most people think they are ugly. The same is true for youth. We are full of enthusiasm when we are young, but we may lose our passion as we grow older. Therefore, we must cherish it and not let the limited time pass by without leaving anything of significance.

Everyone has his or her own dream. When I was a little child, my dream was even to own a candy store of my very own. But now, at the age of 16, standing here, my dreams have changed a great deal.

I have had quite a different experience from other girls. While they were playing with toys at home and dreaming of becoming the princesses in the stories, I was running in the heavy rain, jumping in the thick snow, and struggling in the strong wind. Nothing could hold me back because of a wonderful call from my heart - to be an athlete. Yes, of course, I am an athlete, and I have always been proud of it.

When I was 10 years old, I became a shot - put athlete. The training was extremely tough. I could hardly bear the heavy shot in my hands. But I always believed that God only helps those who help themselves. During those difficult days, I found that I was growing faster than others of the same age. To be an athlete was my most correct choice. However, I left my team after entering high school for a silly reason. I really didn't want to end my sports career in any way.

Today, I tell you, my friends, that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday, today, and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in my soul.

I have a dream that one day, I can run, jump, and throw just like I used to.

I have a dream that one day, I can return to my beloved sports and join the national team.

I have a dream that one day, I can stand on the highest platform at the Olympic Games. With all the cameras focused on me, I will tell everyone that I am so proud to be a Chinese athlete!

This is my hope. This is the faith that keeps me moving forward!

With this faith, I will survive through the strong wind and heavy rain and never give up!

So let the victory ring out from my heart, from all of you. When we let victory ring, I must be the one!

In my imagination, I am a bird, a magical bird. I carry all my dreams with my large wings. I fly over the mountains, through the forests, across the sea, towards the sun, the warmest place in the sky!
