　　I wandered lonely as a cloud

　　That floats on high o’er vales and hills,

　　When all at once I saw a crowd,

　　A host,of golden daffodiles;

　　Beside the lake, beneath the trees,

　　Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

　　And twinkle on the milky way,

　　They stretched in never-ending line

　　Along the margin of a bay;

　　威廉?华兹华斯（1770---1850）是英国杰出的浪漫主义诗人，他与科尔律治（Samuel Taylor Coleridge），骚塞（Robert Southey）同被称为“湖畔派”诗人（Lake Poets）。1843年被封为桂冠诗人。他的诗语言生动、朴实，往往于平淡中显出神奇，且意境高远常有神来之笔。《I wandered Lonely As a Cloud》是他众多描写大自然的优美诗篇中的一篇，诗人把自己想像成为漂浮在高空的云朵，天地一景，美不胜收。全诗共四节，这里选其前两节。
