Flying sand and dust can be swept away by strong winds, an old man grows tired as a wanderer in distant places. Upon returning, he builds a grass hut under the pine tree, lying to listen to the sound of cold streams turning snow-covered mountains white. For such a long time of about 40 years, he has neglected the world and forgotten the difficulties in between. This morning, seeing the painting, he suddenly realized自省, that one could traverse mountains and rivers on foot within a short distance on the flat ground. Bird paths connect clouds and emerge from dangerous passes, with glittering jade trees and exquisite琼林. The overcast cliff and deep gorge are so dazzling that they are about to lose sight, with ice flowers falling and the wind blowing in a mournful manner. Dead trees lean to one side, opening up a galaxy, and the spring colors of the Three Ba Regions follow the people. Fishermen and their boatmen laugh and chat, unaware that they have already passed huge waves. The stream turns back to the river mouth with tooth-like rocks, and there are grass markets in the houses on the stream. In the vast forests and vast valleys, monkeys and birds are rare, and one can barely see small steps or little donkeys like frozen ants. Looking west, the sun is cold with Mount Taibai in sight, and Mount Emei emerges from the blue sky. Life is about finding contentment wherever you are, so why bother to experience the hardship of climbing mountains. When you look in the mirror tomorrow and see your white hair, the spring colors will return to the willows by the river. Why not hang this picture in your high hall, drink heartily in Jinling, and sing loudly?
