溪楼小宴分韵得头字
西风浩荡吹衣裘，天气渐冷黄花秋。
山城酒熟方新篘，虽非九日堪追游。
今朝偶出招朋传，携尊采菊登高楼。
雕盘乌几罗珍羞，一觞一咏相赓酬。
蟾光当窗青入眸，珠帘倒挂珊瑚钩。
晓霞绚彩晴未收，白蘋掩映波光浮。
醉酣更觉忘百忧，胸中世故散不留。
诗成复作商声讴，他人能有此乐不。
丈夫命达当封侯，未达自分归林丘。
我闻弘景不出休，何须更画金笼头。
The west wind howls at our coats, as the weather turns cold in the yellow-flower autumn. The town is full of ripe wine just being poured from its new containers, and although it's not the ninth day of the ninth month yet, it's still worth taking a trip to savor its flavor. Today, I casually stepped out and beckoned my friends, bringing our wine jars and picking chrysanthemums to ascend a high tower. On the carved table, we gather around the black wood dining table laden with exquisite dishes, drinking and singing in unison. The moon casts its light into our eyes as it shines against the window, and its reflection dances on the inverted curtain of coral hooks. The morning glow hasn't fully receded, with white grass blending in and floating on the water's surface. As we drink deeply, we feel all worries fade away, leaving no trace of the worldliness in our hearts. As I finish my poem and sing in a solemn tone, could others also enjoy this happiness? A man should be destined to become a marquis when his time comes, and if not, he can retire to the forest without regret. I've heard of Hong Jing's decision to withdraw and not engage further; why even bother painting a golden muzzle on a horse?
