Wang's home has an ancient mirror, which was cast by Xuan Xian in the past.
With the protection of Taiyi, the mirror is infused with mysterious energy. The sun and moon are engraved on it, shining brilliantly, and龟蛇助add to its mighty power. With the help of all the spirits, the mirror is infused with true water and clarity, reflecting the ultimate essence of life.
The mirror comes out of a colorfully adorned box, which is only half opened, revealing its surface which is like ice crystals playing with light. The mirror is so precious that it cannot be moved easily, and even the sound of a dragon's scales can be heard when it is touched.
Although the mirror has a physical form, it still changes and transforms. It seems to have wings and wants to fly. After hundreds of years, it ended up in the city of Fenyin.
Scholars appreciate it immediately upon seeing it, and even foreign monks are surprised when they recognize its value. They clean it with gold and lead, and wear it like a sash across their houses. The bright red and green colors are like threads piercing through the roof and walls, lighting up the entire compound.
The mirror is so bright that it can illuminate through walls, and even illuminate one's internal organs like a candle. It reminds us of the sorrow of partings with loved ones like a parrot, and the sadness we encounter when a fierce beast appears.
However, one day, the mirror suddenly disappears, leaving behind a dark and mysterious world. Shadows of foxes and other animals appear and disappear, and evil spirits roam around freely. The skin is tough and needs to be scraped off, and even the bone marrow is hard to extract.
If there is thunder and lightning, the mirror will unleash its power to fight against any evil force that dares to disturb it. I am fortunate to live in the mountains with monkeys and deer competing for my companionship. I wish to cross the sea, but fear encountering sharks and crocodiles at the same time. With the help of Yang's little sparrow and Zhang's dragon sword, I am able to explore the caves without lifting my cap or hood.
